It's funny you should mention this. I had a similar experience a few weeks ago after attending church. I was so inspired by the parallels of a specific topic I had been thinking about, that I wrote a blog about it the following day. That blog post drew more clicks that week that any other blog post I had written. I love it when life influences my passions. Good insight. Keep up the good work.

This is all very true. It's especially important to me because I am a web designer. It doesn't make much sense for someone who builds websites for a living to have a site located at http://webdesigngrrl.tripod.com or something like that. Having my own domain name shows that I take my work seriously and value my work enough to pay to have my name (and nothing else) associated with it.

Seriously? You worked for a Hilton Franchise? Was there some rule you couldn't earn points or carry over existing? I can see where they may see a conflict of interest, but that doesn't sound right at all.

Was this recent? I'm so sorry to hear this. I always had good service. In fact, often times they would upgrade me to the suite, especially when I was in Austin.

Hilton STINKS! I spent three years getting 134,000 points and because I worked for a few month for a franchise, they took my points away. CANCELLED my Gold Status.
